Environmental Responsibility

 The FC&L Group works towards sustainability in its commercial productions by improving the soil and reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

The Group has substantially reduced the need of using synthetic fertilizers and pesticides through soil improvement programs such as using animal dung and compost from the agricultural productions at the farms.

Tree-planting programs take place at the farms to improve biodiversity, provide shade, and prevent soil erosion.

Likewise, the local subsidiaries organize tree-planting programs and actions in the communities surrounding the farms.

The FC&L Group is committed to engaging in the needed effort to mitigate and reduce the effects of Global Warming and Climate Change.

Managers at the farms are encouraged to teach sustainable agricultural methods to the employees and neighbors and include them and their land in this effort.
