Brazil

The FC&L Group started its activities in Brazil in 1994.

Today, the main production is large-scale pivot-irrigated cultivation of soy, corn, beans, and quinoa.

Quinoa is the newest crop and it makes up about 20% of the total output. A new processing plant for quinoa was inaugurated in 2021. Quinoa is a very healthy food, and the market is developing both domestically and worldwide.

Over 20% of the property is maintained as biological reserves, as is required by law in Brazil, where the natural plants and animals are protected.

Furthermore, the Group is seriously engaged in reforestation of the area and has so far planted 2000 hectares with eucalyptus trees.
